nothing on you-tube makes me happier than see a new vid from you.

ElderlyIron says:

It’s in part 2, which, for whatever reason, doesn’t seem to appear on the
recommended viewing to the right. Someday I’ll figure out how to add the
links in the videos! If you go to the ElderlyIron Channel Page, scroll down
to “Playlists”. I’ve grouped all the water truck episodes together.

Jeff, why did it take almost a year to put up this video?

Lazarus1940 says:

I’m guessing that the rocks are from filling the tanker from a lake/river
using a garbage pump. I’ve had to scrap a couple when the rocks ruin the
housing. Looks like yours survived well enough.

I moved to Pueblo, CO just before that Waldo Canon fire. That was a bad
deal for a lot of folks not too far north of me. I even know a few people
who were evacuated.

I couldn’t imagine wiping my hands on the curtains. The punishment would be
my hands get cut off.We have a few hand towels in the kitchen just for when
I wash my hands that don’t matter so they can get greasy.I like the flex
hose, cleaner installation.Do you still use that truck on fires?

wyattearp1969 says:

Great job Jeff! Just one question… Is that flex hose puncture resistant?
I’d had for ya to be driving through some brush that could potentially
puncture that hose and put ya out of commission. Just thought i’d ask. I
love your videos bro… Keep em coming.

He is a volunteer fire fighter.

Kalkaekie says:

Another good video !!

ElderlyIron says:

I do it to protect my hearing. I’ve done it for years. Hammer blows. Abrupt
noises, especially those of a higher pitch can be somewhat painful. Easier
to leave them in for extended periods than continuously put them in and
out. I usually have them with me at all times. I use them driving the truck
or the backhoe. Back when TV’s were CRT, I used to get driven out of a room
where the high pitched squeal was so bad I couldn’t stand it. Nobody else
could hear it.

michaelovitch says:
