What gauge wire did you run for the turn signal?
2001 GMC 1500 does it have the wiring for turn signals?
I have 2010 Chevy Silverado. I was wondering if I could replace my factory
mirrors (they are not tow mirrors and do not have signals in them, aren’t
power folding or power heated) to mirrors just like they are now but with a
signal in them? how far into the truck would i have to go to get driver and
passenger side mirror signal working?
It should be.
I have a 1997 Chevy K1500. I was wondering do you guys sell the tow mirrors
in black (no turn signel) for my truck? Also do you have any videos or
pictures of the mirrors on that body style truck? Thanks in advanced.
most excellant video
So far with the turn signal we just have them with the chrome cap. We do
carry black tow mirrors for your 2002 GMC truck, but they do not have the
turn signal in them. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
so will this be the same procedure for the 98 chevy truck? with the turn
signal
@underoathfan14 You’re welcome. We carry a great deal for Chevy Silverado
parts on 1aauto.com
We do carry tow mirrors for your 1995 Chevy Suburban on our website

We do carry them. They are a direct bolt on replacement for your truck. We
currently do not have an install video that shows you how to replace them,
but they’re fairly easy to put on. Here’s a link to them on our website

or you can call Tony in the office @ 866-403-3393
that blue wire splice your showing at 5:21 is not really the best thing to
use up here in canada. they corrode up really bad and cause more problems.
but this is a cool upgrade.
@eightsecrider07 The video did state that those were a prototype mirror.
When they are available for sale they will be listed on the site.
Thanks for the reply.
I love 1AAuto, they have high quality parts for great prices and they ship
fast. But this video is misleading, they don’t make a tow mirror with a
separate running light with the turn signal. It all just flashes. I ended
up buying a set and had to return them. I hope they will make some soon
cause I will buy them.
ill take the stop mirrors off of your hands for free if you want lol im
gonna be buying some for 95 dollars maybe a junkyard will have some in good
condition for cheaper
@joeldude76 Check out some brand new ones at a good price on our website 1A
Auto dot com.
I have a 96 GMC Sierra, I want to put these style tow mirrors on it. Will
the wiring be the same?
Where can i get this exact mirror? I want the chrome and external LEDs
Thanks!
We are STILL waiting for this mirror to be for sale on your site? I have
the exact same GMC truck 2002 as in your video, and want these mirrors! I
want them in standard black, not chrome, but with those awesome LED turn
signals on the housings. Come on, what is the delay here? It’s been 2 years
since you got the prototype mirrors, get on with it!!!!!!!!!!
My cluster only works on my brother in laws truck in mine it wont work and
my headlights flicker in the middle of the night in my driveway.Any idea as
to what the problem might be?
I love all of your videos! thanks for everything
Do you have those mirrors for a 1995 chevy suburban ?
@mrtandaman12 We havent’ upgraded them on a 2010 Chevy Silverado yet. You
sould be able to take the turn signal wire on the mirror and tap into one
of the turn signal wire in the truck to activate it.
Did this prototype make it to production? Because I’d love to have signal
mirrors.
If I purchased the P/N: 1AMRE01551 would they work for my 2002 GMC Sierra
2500HD if I wired the signal myself since they say they are not prewired
from 02 and later. I can handle the wiring myself or do they make an
aftermarket harness I can use. If not I can just cut the harness and wire
direct.
We currently do not have a set of tow mirrors for that particular year.
You may want to splice into the harness with a plastic butt connector as
shown in the video.
