I have 2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD classic (same truck your working on in video) I replaced my TBS and I am still going in to safety mode!!!! My truck will run fine for days then it won't then it's fine again…..I am at my breaking point!!!! Any advice on what to try now!!!! I have replaced battery, wired checked all the fuel system filter lines everything!!!!?????
Did your check engine light turn off right after you did this or ??
I turned the gear on the sensor with a flat head screwdriver to line it up with the peice on the throttle body. Now my engine revs high/ runs hard. What do I do?
Is the battery connected during this procedure? And is there a relearn process for the new part?
Do you disconnect ur battery or so ur light can turn off or it turns of by it self?
How do you reset the engine light after you replace it
Much easier if you remove the throttle body, then you have easy access to the clips.
