This video shows you how to install new spark plugs on your 2014-2018 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L V8. Spark is one of the four required components for an internal combustion engine to run. If your spark plugs are failing, worn, or dirty, you may experience rough starts, rough idle, poor performance, or poor mileage.

This repair was done on a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 5.3L Extended Cab Pickup 4-Door 4WD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2014 GMC Sierra 1500
2015 GMC Sierra 1500
2016 GMC Sierra 1500
2017 GMC Sierra 1500
2018 GMC Sierra 1500

• 8mm Socket
• Spark Plug Gapping Tool
• Hose Pliers
• 5/8 Inch Spark Plug Socket
• Socket Extensions
