If you hear a grinding or groaning noise while your vehicle is rolling, it might have a worn out wheel bearing. A worn bearing can allow the wheel to wobble, creating a host of other issues. To save yourself from more headaches down the road, replace your bearing right away. For solid rear axles, you’ll need to replace the axle seal too. This video shows you how to install a new TRQ wheel bearing and axle seal on your 2000-06 GMC Yukon.

Nicely done video. Very informative with good angles.
I’m curious. My 01 Tahoe 2wd has a mid to high pitch whirring sound about 15 mph that only happens when l’m on the throttle. Goes away once l completely lift. Replaced my rear diff fluid, which was about 6-8 oz low, but that noise is still there on acceleration or simply maintaining speed. Truck has 190k miles on it and was always well maintained. Think my problemis the bearings?

Lawrence Bernal says:

What would cause the axle bearings to go bad and what are the symptoms ?
