Do you ever have a problem with over torque-ing/stripping the wheel stud?
I’ve done this two times now on my vehicle, and always seem to strip at
least one stud. I use less of a ‘spacer’, So that may be my issue….
Thanks for posting the vid, that extra spacer might be what I need to try.
cheers for one of the most to the point informative guides
You can also use small wrenches, just changed them today.
thanks. ive checked out a few videos on stud replacement… your’s seemed
to be the only one without air tools.
GustovoGas I’m sure he’s Australian because he’s says mate even when he’s
not on a ship,I have family member living in Australia for 10 yrs now he
says mate all the time
thanks for posting this vid. pretty clear. but damn. i’m having a hard time
getting the old stud out. i’m suspecting that the hammers im using are not
heavy enough to do anything. what kind of hammer/weight should i use?
Awesome (: Great job, I will try this tomorrow
Remove the hub to do this and save the bearings from being hammered!
thanks dude,.mate nice vid keep posting
Is the knurl diameter of the longer studs bigger than the stock?
Check out this video on YouTube:
Your kind of daft pounding on the nut thats a sure fire way to screw up the
threads on thr nut. Trust me done it with my axle bolt on motorcycle
Im trying to avoid taking the caliper off, must you do this?
Dude…ur accent!!!!! I can’t make out wat u said???????/ video does da job
though….
thank you. sooo helpful. nice footage and your attention to detail is much
appreciated.
You should brace the rear of the hub to protect bearing etc.. ideal way is
to take hub off and press them in and out of course.
