A little RTV would hold it in place for you.
Thanks. Can you use something to stick the gasket on to hold it in place?
Its a good idea to remove the fill plug first. If you did all that work and drained the fluid and the fill plug is stuck, you have a real problem.
You may want to check to see what the manufacturer recommends. Most say around 30,000 miles for the front and rear differential fluid change.
the dealer wants 230 to change my back diff beacuse of the difficulty they said.Is that exspensive? In this video it does not look to hard to do with the right tools. Please let me know a.s.a.p.Also when should you change the fluid?I have 60,000 miles and tow alot and also second owner. Its a 07 so any comment would really help thanks.
it’s mainly due to road salt
