Its a good idea to remove the fill plug first. If you did all that work and drained the fluid and the fill plug is stuck, you have a real problem.

the dealer wants 230 to change my back diff beacuse of the difficulty they said.Is that exspensive?In this video it does not look to hard to do with the right tools.Please let me know a.s.a.p.Also when should you change the fluid?I have 60,000 miles and tow alot and also second owner.Its a 07 so any comment would really help thanks.
