Sounds like you had a critter get in there. You should clean all of it out,

that normal?
It shouldn’t. If you have lost some of the speed settings, usually that’s
the sign of a bad blower motor resistor. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

You may want to pull the code to see what the check engine light is
pointing to. If the air filter is dirty, it wouldn’t hurt to buy a new one.

@1aauto I have a Gauge on the side of the filter..How do i read it? I have
had 2007 silverado for 2 years and check engine light just came on. The
gauge is not in the red when i turn the truck on it still doesnt move. The
green bar remains at the the top. Im going to change it anyway but just
wanted some info on how to read the gauge. Thanks very good video
