When i tried this on my 2014 the shaft snapped. I didn't even put the boogy woogy on it. Thank God where it snapped left me like 4 threads to attach to.
What if it is rusted tight? I use pliers to unscrew it but the entire thing moves and won’t allow the old antenna to loosen. I’ve tried WD40 but it’s no good..

Is it 3/8" or is it a metric size? I'm having trouble trying to fit a 3/8" wrench over it.
