Possibly. If they use a lot of salt on the roads in your area I would say so. Sometimes fender flares suck because if they get water in behind them, the area will rust faster. Just need to check.

if cab corners are starting to rust does that mean other panels will be rusting through as well? and do factory fender flares prevent rust? looking at buying a 2005 sierra and the cab corners are starting to rust but the rest of the body is mint!

Howdy, are you guna paint that ? I woulda figured you would go from behind the cab, around, to the crease of the door. try and hide tho’s weld spots.

I would say thats the cheapest way to do it. Iv got a 95 chevy ex cab that im working on im about to replace both sides but i ordered my cab corners from lmc there stronger and pre shaped just makes it a little easier, but what u did looks good man ill be postin vids of my truck in a few weeks

Nice job with the patch i have to do the bed panels cab corners an part of the rocker on my 90 gmc reg cab short bed. At least the truck is clean unlike mine.
