louder lol. I wish I could just straight pipe my truck but texas laws suck
ass. I want more of a rumble when its idling too. I am probably gonna get

@ibanez35924 I used my intermediate pipe that came with my gibson system
which was 3″. You could fit the 3″ outlaw on the stock intermediate pipe if
you get it welded on. I’ve never been pulled over. Cherry bomb sounds about
the same but it doesn’t keep a deep tone throughout the whole power band
like the outlaw does it sorta sounds more ricey on this motor. It is most
definitely cheaper though and sounds great if you accelerate at a normal
rate and don’t get into that top power band that often
check your local emissions laws, where I live (Louisiana) cat(s) and
muffler(s) are required equipment for gasoline engines (1978-present
vehicle years I believe). The outlaw is considered a muffler (I have no
idea why, i’ts straight through) but I have passed emissions inspection
with the outlaw on my truck. Right now i’m running dual straight pipes (vid
on home page) and I plan on switching back to the outlaw for a day to pass
emissions this year, then back to the straights! Thanks for watchin

@hmx619 yeah that’s a little bit too custom for me and I have tried a 40
and personally didn’t like it too much. i need to add a side exit or
turndown on this system i’ll look better and direct the sound somewhere
else other than directly under the bed. whats wrong with a dodge with no

@haydenz13 The Muffler is 3 Inch sliding over the 3 inch mid pipe that came
with my previous Gibson Kit. The stock mid pipe that comes with the truck
is 2.75 and would require welding. Thanks for watching!
ford lightning would blow the doors off my truck, I plan to keep this truck
and do a powertrain swap in a few years. defiantly a good looking pair of
trucks

@paradoxdesigns legally its a muffler haha yeah it sounds nasty at idle.
gotta test it out at highway speed sense thats most of the driving i do.
yeah i ended up soaking the hangers in pb blaster and using the vice grips
instead of my hands to pop it off. should try screw driver next time.

@MrChriskenser it probably wouldn’t be that much louder outside but you
would definitely hear it more in the cab. If I had a 323 5.3L i’d do long
tube headers into glasspacks with straight duals out the back. I’ve seen
that setup so often it sounds wicked!

is that thing even considered a “muffler”? lol its just a straight pipe
basically. sounds awesome. very deep. best way i’ve found to get the
hangers out of the rubber is a big flat head screwdriver and just pry the
fk out of it til she comes off.
