Sounds like to orings for the fuel lines on top of the injector assembly
are leaking. Should be a simple fix. Just remove the fuel lines and replace
the orings. Be sure to check the video for removing the 10mm bolt that
holds the fuel lines in place at the rear of the engine block. Be sure to
lube the orings with wd-40 so they don’t tear. There are nylon spacer
blocks between the top of the holes and the oring easily removed with a
pick, then you can remove orings, thanks for the inquiry.

Great videos John! Have you ever run across this: my 96 GMC Sierra 4.3
has gas on top of the injector assembly. I haven’t checked it any further
besides just looking at it. I plan to check it further tomorrow. The truck
bucks from time to time going up big, long hills. Thanks for the
informative videos! Greg

I appreciate the video, ive got a 2003 S-10 with 75,000 on it and may have
to do this sometay — im told this is a problem with these and that in
later replacement versions of the spider the poppet injectors have been
retro-replaced with real injectors that are more reliable. Great tutorial
guys, thanks much.
