Matt Droze says:

Good vid, thanks for the help!

Leo Lopez says:

Have you ever had issue with no sound after you installed the new speakers? I even reconnected the old speaker to check if the problem was the new speaker but neither is giving off sound now.

Chris Lowrado says:

Great video thanks for going in depth

andrew bacon says:

Are the wire harnesses the same for back

Martin Guerrero says:

Is this better then the Bose system in there

Dac Attack says:

I did all this and found a white plastic piece with a spring on it at the bottom of the door panel. I have no idea where it is from but I'm guessing it broke off from something

Dac Attack says:

What's up Jp .I have a 2016 GMC canyon. The driver window is making a weird sound when trying to roll up then just stops and won't roll up. So I'm left trying to take the door panel off to see what is causing it to not roll up. I have a action required thing on the dash as well. Any advice?

Cristopher Hernandez says:

I would suggest next time to add some double side foam tape to get a secure fit and add some foam around the holes before you put on the speaker for it not to rattle a lot

Zentredius says:

Great informative video!
Just curious about the self tapping screws you used, is there a specific size i need?

Kernal Cletus says:

Do those speaker brackets work for the rear door as well? The ones I have are way too big and bump into the small black bracket above the hole for the speaker

transam790 says:

Thanks for making this how to. How do these sound? Are you pushing them with the stock head unit? I have a 2016 4 door looking to improve the sound.

Murray Shekelberg says:

I just bought a 2015 Canyon extended cab. This is perfect. Glad I got to see the brackets it takes and all the fragile tabs before I started pulling panels off. I miss my subs but I think I'm going to wait to get all the wire harnesses and mounting brackets before I touch the sound system.

Flores2019 says:

When I finished watching the video I had to take pills for motion sickness.

Arn G says:

Thanks for the video. I'm about to install new speakers with 92 sensitivity. Should I also add an amp? If I do I figure I would have to install 14 gauge speaker wires.

Jay Blaske says:

Hey JP. Why the new speaker brackets? What guess work do these new brackets remove? Also the link for the metra harnesses says “Ford”, are they interchangeable with Chevy?

Julio Tovar says:

Where could I find those brackets to the speakers?

Ganesh Narayan says:

Great video JP. thanks for showing on a 2015 gmc. i wish i can give you thousand likes.
