This harness is easily compromised and it will seem like you have a bad camshaft position sensor. It’s not. So make sure to check this harness. 100% fixed the issue and also customer got their drive detecting sensors as well. This had two broke wires and a really bad repair already once that led me to have to repair it again. Smh. Nothing like a lazy mechanic to make your week terrible. Smh.

I wouldn't eat the cost of the water pump repair, But maybe offer to repair the poor wiring at fair rate since it was not your repair in the first place. Properly repaired and sealed wires should not have an issue with coolant in the first place.
