The Bosch oil filters are NOT German filters. Bosch filters were made by
Champion Labs, now they are made by Purolator. Bosch just has a German
sounding name.
Don’t forget to lube the O-ring on the filter before you install it. That
filter is so tiny. The one for my 7.3L IDI is about 3x that size. Still
better than the shot glass sized one on my 03 Sentra. I guess gas engines
don’t need much oil filtration compared to diesels.
