Are there screws under that center grill cover on top?

Bob Loblaw says:

Austin- I’m not a mechanic but I watched your video (four times!) and took
my time, completing the job after three sessions, following your example of
labeling each bolt and part. I OWE YOU A TON FOR YOUR GREAT VIDEO- THANK
YOU & HAPPY NEW YEAR!

HotRodder42 says:

Yeah my heatercore went south in my GMC 03 Sonoma SLS. Thought about
tackling this job but after seeing your video there is no way I could have
done this myself. So I shelled out $600.00 @ AutoLab. OH WELL 🙁

Joey Buley says:

hey I have an 03 yulon XL. and my evap when out. which is buddys with the
heater core…. i hope… and since im a poor college student that cant
aford a pot to piss in, Its my turn to pull up my skirt and do it my
self… If I fallow this video and hope for the best…. will I be ok?

bigwillchill says:

it took like 5 hours to do the whole job

Austin S says:

Well, it may be similar. Not sure what to tell ya really, In my experience
when you don’t know exactly what you’re doing just take your time, take
notes, and if something doesn’t come apart easily don’t force it because
you probably missed a nut or bolt. I guess hike up that skirt and good
luck! I

Thanx a ton for sharing this video ! What a huge help ! My ’05 Jimmy was
identical inside to your truck. I would never have attempted this without
this video. Cheers pal !

Thank you for making this video! It really helped. Have a 99 Sonoma, stick
shift 2 wheel drive, so it was a little different. Maybe a little easier.
But, you are awesome anyway, Thanks again!

Want to give you 1000 thanks for posting this video. It saved me a TON of
cash in doing this myself. Took about 13 hours, but I took my time, watched
the video a couple times to make sure I didn’t forget anything. Total cost
50 bucks for the part, 30 bucks for a set of wrenches,
video….PRICELESS!!! Thanks again

this helped my out alot it was alot easier then expected great videos

bigwillchill says:

for a 1994 you dont have to get that bolt in the evap housing, you dont
even need to take off the kick panels. i took them out anyway to have lots
of room. theres only 3 bolts in the bottom that hold the bottom part of the
dash and the 4 above in the speaker and defrost vent area and it comes out.
i took off the speedometer console thing to avoid breaking it. of course to
get to that you neet to take off some superficial panels… a 1994 s10 p/u
is much easier, but great video man! thanks
