We are excited to show you our new installation video for our part KAP169.
This part is designed to repair broken exhaust manifold bolts on the
dreaded driver’s rear corner of the manifold (near the firewall) and also
the passenger front corner of the manifold. Although there is precious
little space to install the bracket on the driver’s rear corner of the
manifold… this part is absolutely proven to work!! It will save you time
and money. Do not remove the manifold… Do not drill out the broken
bolt… install the bracket and eliminate the exhaust leak! Thanks for
watching!
holy crap these are awesome. ive done so many manifold stud/bolt repairs
over the years living in illinois, wish i would have known about these
sooner. but yeah definitely need these for the late 90s f150s. ran into
them breaking way more then the chevys did
i just ordered this one for my saab 9-7 with the 5.3 for the passenger
front side. just curious what the specs on the bolts are as i dropped one
into the abyss (didnt fall through to the floor) trying to tighten it. it
worked good to begin with, but having only the top bolt in, meant that the
force from the clamp rotated the whole bracket so its not working as well
anymore.
I just got off the phone with you (jim), just moments ago. You really seem
to have good knowledge and answered all my questions asked.. I will be
ordering from you as soon as I get paid and will update this after install.
Thanks again Jim, Kyle
