Tha Montgomeryz says:

How do you permanently remove the error message once switching to standard shocks?

Emilio Perez says:

Just an FYI, you fixed the wires to the Left Rear Ride Height Sensor, not the Wheel Speed Sensor!

John Halchishick says:

My 2005 Denali all wheel drive has a magnetic ride control in the front. The shock doesn't appear to have coil springs over it. Has something been removed how does this front suspension work without coil springs or leaf springs.

Mike Walker says:

I have a 2016 Ram 2500 6.4 Hemi. I am getting the Service Air Suspension message beeping at me sometimes 30 or 40 times a day. The suspension system is working fine. I have been to two different dealerships and nothing is stored in the computer memory and there is nothing they can do. It comes off and on very quickly and of course will not come on when at the dealership. Doesn't matter anyway cause there is nothing in the computer,,,,,,so they don't know what to fix. This is driving me crazy. I can go a few days and it will not beep, then it beeps constantly for days on end. If anyone has found a way to fix this I would greatly appreciate some insight on this.

Very good and informative repair by the way. Awesome job!

R.a. Wheeler says:

I live in the snow belt, in another words northern Indiana. I love the ride and handling of these systems but typically as they start to age they fail and are expensive to maintain. I have for that reason personally stayed away from such systems in my own rides. I love them heated leather seats,, but if it includes air shocks I typically walk away. But if I did and as I advise, I would check this system visually often and if a part goes bad that exceeds the price of replacement shocks, then I would just convert them. I've done quite a few for my customers, family and friends saving them thousands in the long run. These systems are nice when tbey are working properly but few things suck as much as having a luxo chariot with a failed air suspension. Might as well be a failed air conditioner in the dead of summer. That thing will be no fun and did I mention that this system isn't cheap to maintain? But for the die hards who line my pockets that money could be better spent on maintaining other critical systems! You know, like air conditioning.

dummkompf says:

what if everything works, but the sensor doesn't trigger the pump at the correct height? my car rides too low at the rear, but if I remove the linkage for the ride height sensor from the control arm and move it up as high as it will go, the compressor will come on and inflate the shocks. I hear it come on when I'm driving sometimes, but it never stays on long enough to get the rear up to the height it should be at

Russell Gilson says:

best repair video Ive seen, nice job of explanation while making the repairs.

Victor Ramirez says:

i install new shocks rear and front and still it bumps hard should i just change pump

Victor Ramirez says:

you just chage the pump

Need Help….!! My 200 GMC Yukon Xl had the " Ride Control " System Changed out to an Adjustable / Nozzle —- air Shock System.
I am Happy with the Air Shocks. ! Now I need the " Ride Control Service" Light to Go Off for Ever…. Can't I just Pull some Fuses…or Relay…. And the Message will Stop Showing…? If So , Which Ones…? Also some Youtube Videos Discuss putting in a Resistor inline, near where the Air Compressor Used to be…But What Resistance is the Resistor…? And Where do You Solder it In…?
I tried calling. "Strutmasters" ( I believe that was the Name of the Co. ), and they Refused to Discuss the Resistor Information , unless I Had Purchased Their Aftermarket System….to Support the Rear End ".
So far I've got No Where on this….and The Message Continues Daily…. UGH..!!

Outstanding! The attention to detail and inclusion of all the "little steps" sets this video apart from others. I make it a habit to not comment on YouTube, but this video warrants a praise.

VITALII GARASKOV says:

ANTHONY BARLOW says:

Fasho , Appreciated it,,

Tyson Ballantyne says:

I scoured the forums, youtube and service manuals but could not find the solution to my "Service Suspension System" message on my 2004 Suburban 1500 LT Autoride 4×4 after replacing all 4 shocks. For those that did not have the "Service Suspension System" Message until after a front shock replacement make sure to tighten the top nuts on the front shocks all the way so that your electrical connectors can seat properly, again, they must be tightened(and torqued to 15ft lbs if possible). These are referred to as "Shock Absorber Upper Stem Retaining Nut" in the factory service manual. This is what alleviated my "Service Suspension" message after front and rear shock replacement(compressor still functioned as normal while message was displayed BTW). I did not use a scan tool and did not have to pull the positive terminal to clear the message, it stopped displaying once the connector was properly installed. I hope this helps someone!

dasboototto says:

a dealer would replace the entire wire harness and charge $1200

Michael James says:

My suburban has the rear air shocks over INFLATED. They will not release the pressure. HELP
