unofficial setting! These vids are the best thing I’ve found on youtube in
a long time… Except for cat videos… Nah, including the cat videos. Wish

ends in an impassioned debate about character death and replacement
character creation. Don’t worry, we’re all still talking to each other
(lol).

There are players who will abuse character death as a means of swapping
characters willy nilly.

Not that I use it, but there is a value to having players come back weaker.
Players that survive should feel that they their characters are more
important and are more experienced then new ones, particularly when new
characters will come in more optimized, due to campaign progressions. It
comes in at the level of Do you punish players for things beyond their
control, or do you reward players that act more carefully? It’s a question
I prefer to avoid, but some GM’s like the question.
