Hey great video!
The GM dealer wants something like $170 for a fob for my ’01 sierra, so i went to the scrap yard and found a remote fob KOBLEAR1XT but it has a trunk button will this work for my truck?
Thanks, Posting things like this on youtube makes it easy and simple for people to solve issues without spending alot of time researching a solution, time I can spend with my kids. Its great when cool people can share knowledge that can help a honest consumer save a lil money on things that crooks overcharge for.
Thanks! A LOT of help! Worked on my 2008 Pontiac G6! The dealership couldn’t even get this to program, but I did after watching this! You’re awesome!!!
Thanks for the video, help me a lot.
Thanks very much! I really appreciate it
how do i reprogram auto start i changed my battery it will not start
works on a 1998 chevy lumnia!
I’m trying to help a friend who’s remotes aren’t working. but your method isn’t working for me.
Their vehicle is a 2003 Silverado 1500HD.
I enter the programming mode. I hold down the lock/unlock buttons on the remote, and within 2-3 seconds the locks lock and unlock (instead of 15 seconds like in your video) But when I turn the key in the ignition to run to exit the program, the locks don’t do anything, and when I remove the key, and then try the remote it doesn’t work.
Any suggestions?
Do you know how to program a fob for a 2001 chevy cavalier coupe
I just skipped the last step, where the ignition is turned to ON in order to leave the programming mode. Major frustration happened. Then I re-read the instructions just one more time, just in case, and what do you know… Everything works now!
Hey thank you!! That was a great trick about all the remotes at once. That was frustrating me like crazy. Good job on the video!! It was easy to follow, just right. Ray from TEXAS
Thanx, for the trick about the multiple remotes. That was exactly what we needed. Thank you for the help. Ray from TX.
