Why do they have codes to unlock radios?
What if you’re selling those old radios?

edit: oh i got it. they also accept 4 digit code. i unlock my Saturn ls
1999 radio. thank you.
Tried this on the stock radio in an ’02 Aurora and removing the chip
completely disabled the radio. Circuit board looked the same but must
function different from a Chevy radio.
Thanks from México!!!
The recording asks you to touch “3” for Olds. Do you use 3 and then one of
those dealer numbers? Doesn’t seem to work. “Invalid number.”

My caddy is a 2001 SLS. The old radio was broken, so I got the exact same
radio from the junk yard. But now it is locked. Just wondering if you think
this method will work on my car.
Thanks
Appreciate the video! 🙂
Unlocked my dads 96 grand prix that had a locked radio in it since he
purchased it.
Very good video worked on a 98 Buick regal thank you!
Just got the 6 digits from my radio and called the GM helpline and got the
4 digits code for unlock really works very well.
Awesome video…dies this work for Cadillac too?
I wonder if you know what a public service you are performing! The best
thing about our old Buick was the stereo, and when we replaced the battery
trying to solve a fuel pump/brain/sensor issue, we lost the radio. Dealers
( I have 9 cars in row) act like they are giving out their SSN! Who wants a
14 year old cassette radio! Followed your instructions, and radio back on.
Not my biggest problem, but a nagging one. Thanks
Thank you so much i can unlock my 91 radio from a buick to a 86 fiero the
4# code is on the radio and my 2000 trans am is the same radio you use as a
display
This worked great for my 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix. Thanks a lot!
Glad you got it working. Better to be locked out for 6 months than locked
in for 6 months, though!
Glad to know it works in Mexico too!
