All you have to do is take the bracket off the ignition coil monster the same bolt that holds the throttle cable assembly Halsey on also. And then there's one more closer to the windshield
Who'd you buy your coil from? How much was it?
My new ignition coil didnt come with a bag new bolts
That wasn't too difficult, excellent video for an easy fix.
Crazy Chevy built parts . bracket mounted to the part? WHO DOES THAT … OH YEAH
Thank you for breaking it down like you did, it helped a lot!
thanks for the video. i've ordered a new coil for my 4.3L that I will install next week.
Great video thanks brother. Glad that was the problem and the fix. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks again
Hyster puts the Vortec in a lot of forklifts. It's a great, durable motor. Forklifts get used in a lot of extreme conditions and are constantly revving up and down and depending on the application can be shut off and started 100+ times in 8-10hr shifts it's a pretty good testing bed for an engine and the Vortec holds up well. Running on LPG makes a huge difference engine maintenance as well. When I did mobile forklift repair the most common ignition related problem was the pickup module in the distributor. In some of the larger distribution warehouses with 75+ forklifts all running at least 16hrs a day the modules would go out right around 6 months pretty much like clockwork. I used to date and initial every part possible with a paint pen and really got used to the life expectancy on a lot of that stuff. Great vid.
Nicely done bud. What brand of coil did you use.
A job well done. 🙂
Sure where was this video 5 or 6 years ago when I had to do this, you know how much time it would have saved me an my buddy? lol Oh well now its here.
Nice work enjoyed the video
