This video shows you how to install a new tailgate handle from TRQ on your 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Being at the rear of a vehicle, tailgate handles can be extra susceptible to environmental causes of rust and seizing. If your handle has become stuck, or the latch no longer functions, you can replace it yourself with parts from TRQ.

This repair was done on a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT 5.3L Extended Cab Pickup 4-Door 4WD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
