Forget the worn buttons and bad bulbs. Get yourself new controls with LED's already installed: https://www.ebay.com/str/gmgaugerepair/GM-Steering-Wheel-Controls/_i.html?_storecat=5294336017

Get yourself new buttons/switches with LED's instead of bulbs. They last much longer: https://www.ebay.com/str/gmgaugerepair/GM-Steering-Wheel-Controls/_i.html?_storecat=5294336017

Nitro Needy says:

The top buttons are easy. It's the bottom-left that is the bitch.

Frankie says:

Did you replace the buttons because they were not working? I ask because mine have stopped working and I have heard that it is because of a bad clockspring although my horn still works.

Mark Brown says:

I cant get any of mine to work any one know how to fix them in 04 avalanche z71

Rocky Kisner says:

Thank you, that was just what I needed

Chris says:

i had to slit the bottom sides of my steering wheel padding in order to pull the bottom switches out far enough to unclip them.
I then super glued the pad slits back together when done and you can barely notice it. Why GM made the wires for these buttons so dam short is just stupidity!

Junior Rodriguez says:

where can i get a harness attacher clip? accidently broke my bottom right. thanks!

golfmanmatt says:

Did you replace it because the didn't work or the light was out? I have a couple  that work but do not light up at night. Wasn't sure if you could just replace the bulb. Thanks

Andork Kuomo says:

You should explain that there are access holes in the side of the column to insert the punches!! I originally thought, the way you explained it, that you take a couple punches and just pry the airbag out.
