I have a 2008 Yukon xl and the cover that flips up to see the mirror and activates light does not stay closed if I have the visor down. Can I fix.

Aaron VanLom says:

FYI: Careful, I have a 95 Yukon 2 door, it has the slide out visor on the side. It is set up different internally although looks the same from the front. I ended up breaking all the little tabs off (has about 12 instead of the 4)and it will no longer go together. It goes all the way thru the inner press board.

Thanks for the reply you were the only person that I found on youtube working on these visors for GM trucks. I'll definitely take off the mirror assembly fallowing your instructions and try to reupholster my visors. Or I might just have them done in leather for an upgraded look across the border in Mexico with the mirrors removed already. Thanks again and Feliz Navidad.
