can you describe jumpiing more detailed, I see the wires, but I do not know what wires you used or what kind of apparatus you used…please explain, thank you…
Usually ignore remarks like this but “dude”, it’s a video on keyless entry. Who cares who smokes? Everybody’s business is “their” business, not ours. Now I just violated my code by commenting on your comment lol… When “dude” doesn’t want to smoke anymore he’ll quit. Oh, great video too…
NO. Its ‘close’ but you remove the key. Turn car on and off twice. Hold down the UNLOCK and then hold the 2 keys down. Google your question. Its model and year specific.
I wanted to comment. You said thats how you program in every GM with that clicker. Actually that is INCORRECT. Most of the SUV’s and Monte Carlo dont use a jumper. You turn the car on and off twice. Then hold the keys down on all sets. For anyone else reading- type the make and model of your GM when looking to HOW to program the GM remote.
’02 Park Ave. This worked perfectly you saved me money. I thought a jump wire was a special kind of wire it wasn’t. I finally just used a regular wire that I stripped the tips from and it worked. Also, the car didn’t beep three times as it was supposed to when it was in program mode. However, I just held the two buttons anyway and after about ten seconds the locks cycled. And also, my box is upside down as well. So you count 4 from right to left and 8 from right to left.
I have a 2000 Cad. Escalade and having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to link the remote back up to the truck….the ECM had been replaced at the dealership and after I got it back the remote didn’t work any longer….
I have an 01 Cadillac STs not sure why it didn’t work….jumped 4 and 8 but doors did not lock and unlock by themselves 2 signal they were ready for clickers¿???

Screw the remote. Whats the radio? 🙂 You a HAM?
glad to hear it helped you, and so many others. i honestly didn’t expect to get this much response from this video.
on a side note, if anyone for some reason wants to use the same clicker on 2 cars that take the same model clicker, you can.

There are different instructions for a 2001 STS you don’t need to do the whole jumper thing it’s actually easier. just look on google.
it does not work on my 2000 L200 Saturn, there is no wire on Pin 8 of the Data connector to jump pin 4 to it, but thanks anyway
