My friend is trying to do the hackintosh and he has 8GB USB and Vmware of
Mavericks he bought.
He did every step correctly in the guide but when he gets to the point of
Unibeast and clicks install it would just stay there forever and never
finish installing. The USB would have folders and the app “OSX Mavericks”
in it but with all the other folders that aren’t supposed to be there. He
left it on for hours but it still wont finish.

What could be the problem?

Thanks a lot

Justdownload the vmware unlocker from InsanelyMac,run it as admin and it
will add the OSX option on vmware.

Thank you! I followed this step by step and it ran perfectly. In the future
could you possibly make a tutorial on how to install Mavericks physically?

You can convert the dmg to iso inside Mac Os X using disk utility. This tut
shows how to do it.

conversion.
