just get the mac file of the download(.dmg) and just convert it with the converter in the description
no you keep everything nothing changes but ios all files and photos and contacts remain

i downloaded the gm ios 7 and it worked but now i cant sync with my itunes. says i need the latest version 11.1 but i dont see that anywhere. my itunes says its up to date version 11.05 . any suggestions??

So if I do this on a windows laptop with iTunes if I do a shift update with iOS 7 GM will I lose data i.e. messages, contacts, calender info, apps that are already on the phone? As I don’t have music on the phone I don’t have to resync them nor photos as I have all them saved I’m just more curious as to losing contacts, past messages, calender information, apps already installed and saved data within the apps like games and email accounts etc?
