house/mcdonalds. Or you can do the same process, but at the lock screen.
its just i have heard its harder to bypass the activation process from the
lock screen. if it doesn’t work the first few times you try it, just
reboot. and continue triple click home, and tap the time on the top, and
then swipe down with three fingers.

@hartex100 Ok, first try rebooting and plug your ipodtouch into a different
port on your computer. If that doesn’t work try uninstalling itunes then
restore. If that doesn’t work try on a different computer.

@mcpinoy14 If it’s registered, you should be good, It should boot up, and
your all set let the idevice do its thing, follow all of the steps. It’ll
let you into the home screen easy!
@MrBornoc Make sure you are trying the update using firmwares ios 5.0 beta
6 or 7, those are the only ones that are being signed right now. And if you
still get an error, try using IREB.

so after doing this my iphone is now a brick with no service, and itunes
10.5 will NOT let me reload my data since both are beta versions and not
registerd with the UDID. ….got a solution? because if not this is sort of
a MAJOR flaw in this

@13pxndxhou nope, no jailbreak required, and it’ll work on your verizon on
your iPhone 4
@AmplifyMysteri well, if you have your UDID registered, then you can
connect. IF you don’t, then you have to buy the gevey sim unlock.

it, could you try it and tell me how it goes?
@Silentalero3 so first, there is no unlock, and you cannot sync. Remember
this is only for those of you who just want to try out ios 5 before
actually purchasing it. second, i am sorry the UDID bypass section of my
video’s quality was crappy, but is that where you are having trouble? If
so, i can help.

@7535ugaalec ok, if you have a windows pc, then try running IREB then
restore. Or try downloading pwnagetool 4.0 (very Important) and at the top
click DFU. That should put you in a restorable state. if that doesn’t work,
download redsn0w 9.8 beta 5, browse for ios 5.0 beta 5 firmware, uncheck
install cydia and check pwned DFU mode. This will also put you into a
jailbreakable state. And finally if none of this works tell us.

@mcpinoy14 Oh, well. Do you have a dev account with apple? have you paid
someone to register your UDID? If you answered no, then its not registered.
If you answered yes, then it is registered.
MrBashair, put your device into DFU mode. Then restore normally
