Did anyone else jump at 8:38?
That’s worth knowing, in the past I’ve just replaced the wires. Great demo!
I love watching your videos! You are one of my favorites on YouTube! I’m 30
years old and have been doing all my own repairs since I was 16 and had my
first car. There is no repair that I won’t attempt on my own!
Some jobs are more frustrating than others but the knowledge, feeling of
accomplishment and money saved always makes it worth it in the end.
I firmly believe what goes around comes around, your a good man,, good
things will come your way…. and like a bell ringing you’ll know… I
remember reading a story about a Good Samaritan…
Great video. I’ve done this a couple times so I could drive to the auto
parts store and pick up a new set of wires. 🙂 I got a set with a
lifetime warranty, so they gave me a new set for free, so I don’t mind so
much when/if it happens. I always use dielectric grease, but sometimes sh!t
happens.
Yet anotherrrrr informative video! Thank you and happy bday
Brian, you are a great guy helping people in need! This is really a great
money saver.
Ending was hilarious.
Yes it made me jump.
Aloha
So great of you to do this for a friend! Love the videos thanks again for
taking the time to help all of us have a wonderful week.
Happy Birthday Brian !
Wow you took me back to my child hood as a teen repairing spark plug
wires just as you did .
Brian you are a true gentleman for saving people money, when you know
they’d have difficulty finding that extra $40. Hope you have storage space
for all that good karma.
Happy Birthday for next week!
HMM BRIAN!! looks like a hanna´s got a corrolla from late of the 80´s!!
or ami just kidding myself?
This about qualifies you for entry into the group of “Eco Warriors”.
Recycle should be always the preferred
option and this video shows some great adaptive skills.

if you’re so poor you don’t have 40 bucks to spare … why have a kid?
seriously.
I pulled one out once and got new wires. A year later the new wires broke
down because they were junk. So I fixed the original wire and they were
still good three years later when the car was sold.
Thanks Brian this it cool! I got ya beat ill be 40 in April! Thanks for
another great year of videos!
Also good if you are working on Sunday/holiday and need the car the next
day to go to work.
We don’t get paid like its surgery tho
Very nice quick fix brian. Thank you for the video
Good tips Brian and a good friend to have and yes I jumped.
37? Doesn’t matter, you’re young inside!
Never thought that that would work, awesome!
Related question – what should you do to make sure you do not get shocked
when removing plug wires from a running engine, like when you are trying to
find a dead cylinder?
Wow, all this knowledge and not even 40 years old! Amazing!
happy birthday brian!
This is also good to know because the contact on some plugs can unscrew
from the insulator. Had one get lodged up in a boot once, and it took a
dozen cuss words or so to get it out. Had I known this trick, it would have
saved no small amount of frustration.
I don’t know how many times I’ve had to do this operation on my cars. I’ve
been doing this (shade tree) for about as long as you have. Since I was 16.
It’s still interesting to watch someone else do it though. Thanks for
spotlighting some of the things I’ve been doing for so many years.
Thanks for the videos.
Been there, done that. Good for you, Karma doesn’t always put money in your
pocket, but.
Silicone is great for all rubber products on a car, my door and trunk,
gaskets are like new,on
my 87 Tornado ” Trafio”, bought new, and never garaged . Might explain ”
FISH EYE” tho .
I love the pick don’t Poke Brian! Because it sounds like a really dirty
country song…….., he he he. Thanks for being a Human being and helping
her out! Blessings to you…….
I wish there was a option to pay for the videos bud, I canceled my cable
and your videos are way better then cable hope you having a great day
Brian, is there ever a price $$$ wise when you help. Helping is without
doubt what makes you do what you do. Love it and don’t forget what makes
you you 🙂

even close to that big out here in Ontario Canada
What about a friend driving in three cilinders to autozone, making him/her
even more friendly LOL. Nice tip. cheers
Should of checked your work with an ohm meter.
You can buy an individual wire pretty cheap.
But it is good to see.
Thanks
I’m a day late on the Wednesday video again. It’s been intense around here
lately. Everyone’s broke and so are their cars! Enjoy this video- it’s
perfect for such occasions!
