This 07 HHR has no power assist due to a blown 60-amp JCase fuse. The fuse in in the Under Hood Fuse Box. The fuse was blown while using the car to jump start another vehicle. This may also apply to Malibu, Vibe, Cobalt, G3, Saturn ION with EPS equipped.

changed the inside fuse and the fuse in the engine and power steering is still coming on 🙁 people are saying its something to do with the wire? I have an 06 chevy and chaned the 60 amp fuse
What if she try jump start car at fuse box negative and positive know power steering not working 2008 chevy Equinox so there's two fuses for power steering. You have videos on how check thrm?

Just wanted to write and say thanks for your video. I left my keys in the ignition all day while I Was in my work truck and a stupid colleague of mine hooked up the jumper cables to the fuse box not knowing the battery is in the back of the car. Well, right when I saw him do this I noticed he touched that 60amp fuse (first fuse upper left) and I saw smoke. I know nothing about cars but my uncle came by, took some tin foil and placed it under the fuse and now I can steer. So, i will be buying a new fuse tomorrow. I saw thank you because the fuse box doesn't tell you which fuse is for power stearing. it says that fuse is for ABS which is clearly wrong. We also have the free electronic steering box the dealership gave to us for the recall, but we never installed it. We will this weekend. Anyways, I did a quick google search and your vid was the first to pop up and it showed me what fuse i needed to confirm.
Now I know why the power steering fuse blew as my brothers battery was dead and he had to have it jump started so I guess that can blow the fuse as well!
