Hey guys, a new video from my bro. It’s about time :)
Great work James..
You had a Danner moment when you said, “What is that” sounded just like
Paul, lol…
I’m still amazed at your knowledge…I Believe.
More videos please lol. Thank you
Great job I am working on a Hyundai with a V6 and I have the scope hooked
up to both cam sensors should the wave form be lined up with no cam advance
or retard? The scan tool says bank 1 is -19 bank 2 is 0 so I am thinking
they should both line up and they are not. I activate the cam solenoid and
bank 1 is 35 with the desired at 49 an Bank 2 at 50 with the desied at 49
I am thinking Bank 1 cam phaser is bad.. What is your thoughts? I thought
the cam solenoid might be sticking but if that was the problem when I
controlled it on it should have went to 49-50 not 35 I want to be sure the
phaser is bad because its not cheap and its a bitch to get too
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
i want too thank you for you to let other people learn from you thank you
to my you are a top mechanic god bless you
Was that a GM or aftermarket Solenoid with the wire around the screen .
None I have replaced seems to have them wires and looks like a good idea
,sense the screen gets messed up a lot..
Well done Danner – thanks
Take the screen off the vvt. Idc wut they say
simple and to the point. keep them coming
Cleanest ‘old’ motor eraaarrrr!!!
Nice! Ive got a 2002 rav4 4 cyl with vvti issues. Solenoid seems to work
good I believe the intake phaser is sticking. wish me well. Im gonna take
the phaser apart to see whats up.
Excellent video i love how you maximize the usage of your tools did you
train at rosedale you my friend are a power user.
About time! Good Video! I think the Sensor you put in is the updated one.
There were a lot of issues with the older ones. Look forward to seeing
more.
Nice find/fix.
Great Video Jim! I hope you charged this customer for the oil. LOL
thanks for this video, another good piece of information you guys are
awesome.
People pay tens of thousands of dollars for a vehicle and then fail to do
even the basic maintenance. It’s a mystery to me.
Great video Danner. Did you find the screen in the oil or is it
disintegrated?
oil no oil hahahaha great vid thanks again!
This vvt is gonna keep us busy for some time !!! good for us but it sucks
for the car owner. In my opinion vvt sucks !!
