Hey thanks for the good video. I’m in Portland too. I pulled mine apart to replace the drive this week and was confident about doing it because of your video. Only thing in mine, I did not have any washers/spacers at the brush end of my armature and it does seem to have some lateral play so maybe I will add some shims.

One quick problem. You disconnected the positive, rather than the negative battery cable. Always do the negative first; if your wrench touches a grounded part, you won’t do any arc welding, as would be the case if you were trying to remove the positive cable first.

I think I have another vid where I take apart the solenoid. Take the big nut, 2 small ones and the two screws out. I will try to attach the other vid here.
