Great share Will ! Wonder if you could take that tool you made on the lathe and part it in two . Then weld in your pipe and weld the end cap back on .. Perfect job Good to see you again !!

spelunkerd says:

Gee, special tools to replace a seal, that's complicated. Well explained!

Mtechthewise says:

I guess you could have removed the frame cross member, but it might not have saved time overall.

Johnny Auto Tech says:

Nice to see new content… one thing I always do when banging in seals is to pack the seal with grease to keep the tension spring from popping off while installing

discoveryman59 says:

Wow that seal is designed like crap! Nice to see you back. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you and yours!!

Brocktoon says:

Good to see you again, Will. Did an intake manifold gasket on my 97 K1500 recently, and your video on it was a huge help. Happy New Year!

Glad to see you back. Read the posts, sorry for your break up. It's hard, I know first hand. About the vids, you can't please everyone. As long as you work on STUFF, you'll make mistakes, We in the auto repair field know it's how you correct the mistakes that really matters. Remember your customer only cares about a quality repair at a fair price, He really doesn't care how you got it done as long as it's fixed. MISTAKES DON'T COUNT IF THEY DON'T GET OUT THE DOOR. Any time I comment on a procedure I only want to SHARE my experience, not to belittle you but to maybe give you another idea on how to, for the next time. That's how we learn. THANKS WILL.

Annie Renard says:
