Sonnax specs a travel of .075″-.125″, and your video says .250″-.375″. What gives? 3/8″ sure seems like a lot of travel, and likely to cause a lot of slippage and premature band failure.

I just installed mine today with transmission on pretty easy install! It leaked very little fluid but, I felt the difference immediately the only issue I had was the orientation of the parts.
Mine pop half way out. Fluid came squirting out. What can cause that to happen ?
Will I loose a lot of fluid when removing the cover? And what kind of lube is used or what will work? I’m gonna try and do this with tranni on
Hi, I have a 700R4 and it is disassembled, I need to know how to install the clutches in that trans. I got the kit from an auto store here in Panama city, Panama. I repaired trans a long time ago, and think will not be able to put that one again in one piece. Can you provide me with information regarding this issue? I became old now, and think getting some stupid. Thanks and hello from Panama city, Panama. Best regards
so all you do is hammer the servo cover in after everything else
this guy shout too much
Thanks for posting this video up BW. I did the job in my driveway this afternoon. Cheers!
NEXT!
How did you get the servo out? My pins must be bad, I am only missing 2nd gear.
Yes. Depending on your chassis it may be a little tight. But it can be done very easily
can this be done with the tranny still in the truck? stupid question sorry
thanks! finally going to get around to putting mine in soon
i need to find out how to hook the second gear band up through the servo, 4L60E
Neighxt…
Nothing was edited from the original DVD version. This is just a small sample clip of an over 2 hour long instructional DVD for rebuilding the 4L60E. It’s meant as a promo. You shouldn’t be using the few clips of it online, to do an actual rebuild. You’d need the entire video to do things right. There are links up top to purchase the full length DVD. Best of luck!
The snap ring is not that easy! Y did u edit it it took us 3 hours to install the snAp ring
Dude i liked the video untill the snapring install thats bs u editing it it took me and 2 freinds 3 hours to just do the snap ring
NICE….ANY VIDEOS ON PUTTING ON A TRANNY COOLER ON A 4L60E??

question is the servo cover under pressure…2 if the servo coer is leaking a bit is it more of a job than just replaceing the o rings…3rd is ther fluid behing the servo cover..in other words if you were to remove the servo cover would fluid come out..thatnk you all in advance for your replies
Absolutley correct…checking the pin length is critical and Atec wants $420 for the tool..lol! nice trick!
