Mikey Mulhearn says:

383 is generally a 6.2, closer to 6.27 btw

john smith says:

I love this site. I would however like to see some videos on Suburban big
block repairs. I know there are a lot of puddle jumper cars out there but
would still like to see more 90s and later car repair videos such as rear
heater/ a/c repair or replacement.

Juan Romero says:

MY 125HP FORCE MOTOR OUTBOARD WONT RUN, THE FLY WHEEL TURNS BUT THATS ABOUT
IT.

Rogelio Acevedo says:

Is this a double overhead camshaft ?

dojmike says:

Jackson Browne music playing in the background – the best music for working
on a car!

asustech007 says:

Rebuilt a 305 once when it spun a rod bearing, but rod bearings doing that
on 350’s isn’t typical like it is on 305’s. Surprised this happened…
tortured engine?

Megan Nealy says:

I have a 1999 chevy Tahoe, 5.7 vortec, I have to rebuild, I don’t want
stock would love the 383 stroker. If you have to guess, what would be the
overall cost to upgrade my 5.7vortec into the 383 srtoker like you did in
the video??

Takela Lewis says:

2112dim says:

I don;t get it: how does the lubrication system work?I mean how oil is

their hands dirty! http://ow.ly/koK2W

wpas pas says:

Box Coupe says:

good stuff !!!

03protegeES says:

An engine converts thermal energy into mechanical energy… Burning gas to
turn a crank. A motor converts uses energy to create motion.. Electric
motor spinning to move something. Engines ARE motors, but motors are not
necessarily engines. At least that is my understanding.

Justin Howell says:

I watch in hopes that when i actually have the money to do it, I will have
the knowledge

TheManBearPig says:

I’m at work and don’t know why I watch these either..

DESPRADO111 says:

ok, I have a question. Why don’t you mark the rod cap on the end? I was
just taught to mark them on the sides like you do. But, in the mid 70’s
when I learned all of this stuff, I always thought it was to make sure you
keep the rod and cap lined up right. How does it ruin the rod? You guys
have probably already been asked this before. Sorry if this is a repeat
question. I really like this video series. I appreciate you all doing it:~)
Thanks.
