Great video, thank you. I have an 08 Tahoe, and a very small drip from the front of the TC. I was thinking the case seal, but looks like trans fluid. Is the fluid in the case red as well ? Also, do you have these seals in stock usually ?

How do you have over a thousand Chevrolet videos and ZERO for showing an easy fix for a common problem? This video talks about a tailshaft seal and how it is an easy fix for a common problem but you have zero videos on the procedure.

2012 Acadia w/approx 85K well maintained miles has recently been shifting into 4wd on the fly and randomly. Brought it into one of the few remaining Sears Auto Centers few mos ago where they changed the tranny fluid w/out disturbing filter/pan. Noticeable downshift and "Traction Control Off, Service Stabilitrak, Service Traction Control and Engine Power is Reduced" msgs come on as result.
Thoughts please, thanks!

Wisconsin Railfan says:

Is there a way where I won't have to have the transfer case if I just run it in 2WD? I heard something somewhere about if u don't engage the 4WD then the transfer case issue won't be a problem… Can ya help please?
