I'm in Detroit and I want to buy a Bolt but Like 80% of homes in the city the garage is detached and several feet from the house panel. Which according to this video would be non standard, how do I find out if I need spend thousands of dollars digging trenches and installing a new breaker box before I buy? This program seems to benefit suburban homes only since most homes in the suburbs have attached garages
How do you know if you qualify for this free charger install? I just bought a 2022 EUV and I want it installed ASAP ……….. probably not for Canadians eh?
There’s currently a recall by GM on there bolt euv.
This demo is an illegal installation!!! The electrical code requires a GFCI breaker, not a standard breaker on this EV outlet. Also best practice would be to wire a 50 amp oultet with a 50 amp breaker in my opinion. If the next owner plugs their Volvo or Tesla into that outlet, it will overheat and ultimately trip (hopefully).

As an auto enthusiast loving GM vehicles. I have no interest in electric vehicles. Please restyle the Camaro not make it electric. These EV's have no soul. I love Chevy/ GMC trucks for hauling. PS. I'll never purchase an EV!
If you buy an EV, absolutely install a level 2 charger in your garage.
Maybe I'm just old. But I remember when hearing a vehicle could save your life. Loud pipes save lives. Quiet electric motors kill
Why is it nobody is willing to say that a fully charged lithium battery bank is actually self-destructing. Unlike lead acid batteries of old, which needed to be fully charged at all times in order to reach its full life span, lithium batteries need to be in their discharged state to reach a long life. A fully charged lithium battery is actively dying. Most lithium batteries charged to 4.2 or 4.3 V per individual cell. Now the normal uninformed consumer cause this a fully charged battery. But in reality when this battery is in it fully charged state it is actually taking damage. It's not just you guys Chevy everybody who sells an electric vehicle whose power storage is based on lithium power cells is selling something to somebody that has an extremely finite cycle life. Please Chevy describe to me the cycle life of the batteries. I don't care how far it goes I don't care how efficient it is I don't care how powerful it is I don't care how quiet it is. How many times can you go from dead battery to charge battery before the battery is absolutely useless to the consumer. And how much do your proprietary battery banks cost. Probably two-thirds the cost of the car. Meaning you fully expect people to throw these cars away after the first battery Bank wears out. Talk about planned obsolescence. This is not supposed to be built in to American automobiles. Wake up Chevy
I have a serious issue with the fact that every time I need to refuel I need to go home to plug my car in. Ridiculous! I would like to pull into the many of millions of fuel dispensing stations where I could easily top up the tank of my internal combustion engine powered automobile in a matter of 90 seconds. And after 90 seconds at the pump, I would be left with a 400 mile range. 400 miles for 90 seconds worth of refueling. Let's see one of your electric go karts do that
Millions of Americans are looking for gasoline powered Passenger cars of various sizes. Apparently General Motors can no longer offer such a thing. I will have to take my business to foreign auto manufacturers to meet my family's needs. Thanks Chevy

Manufacturers should be developing the tech to harvest the wasted heat and waste gases from gasoline vehicles to drive efficiency to 100+mpg and burn 99.9% clean.
Always having to daily charge my cell phone is a pain in the rear, and it takes 60 to 90mins each time sometimes 2x a day. If I could refill my cell phone with a fuel in the time it takes to pour a glass of milk? I would pay 4x for that cell phone. ALL batteries suck pretty much. Likewise, how is 10hrs charge time appealing on an EV? When I can gas up my car in 3 mins for a 400mile range, and lasts for a week to 2 weeks. EV will fail mass adoption. + States like California cannot handle one more EV vehicle tapping out the already overburdened power grid.
