Papa Toms Thoughts says:

Actually Kenny, your camera work is good. Hard to do when in confined space. Great tutorial..

Love the farting dashboard

Thomas Zawacki says:

I think the HVAC needs a little extra fiber in its diet.

With LS manifolds with a brake booster hose – disconnect from the booster, not the manifold – easier for removal and install.

R S says:

Save yall some heartache. Buy those from GM.

Victor Jeffers says:

Kenny would explain what a knock sensor is what is it use and are they really necessary !

Steve Wright says:

Side effect of battery disconnection is the hvac noise you hear.

These year Chevys don't like dead or disconnected batteries.

Pretty sure the L76 6.0 has the brake booster hookup on the rear of the intake

At key on, GM products exercise the AC blend and fresh air actuators to calibrate their positions.

jthonn says:

Nice job as usual Kenny. It doesn't look like too bad of a job. I remember when you just disconnected the throttle cable, fuel line, pcv hose and maybe a vacuum hose, pull the bolts and pull a heavy intake off with the carburetor attached . I know I need to quit living in the past. I guess I just miss it. I was upset when they did away with points and condenser. I'm really telling my age, lol.

Chris Kirby says:

Lol. Nice noise! Lol.

Dependable Auto Truck says:

should replace the oil seal on the rear one to stop the oil from entering

SuckIT2000 says:

If it has an auto switch it's usually always that switches module is dying and possibly taken out the encoder motor

Glenn Fields says:

A really nice tutorial on this repair. Great video Kenny!

Rhys Arthur says:

There is a HVAC Actuator Recalibration Procedure for GM's that may correct the blend doors: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grF8aRtgu1I

SeanBZA says:

Would have cleaned that throttle body while it was out, at least to get the black gunk off it to make it respond smoother to throttle commands.

Joel Losoya says:

Sounds like a vacuum leak ?

SeanBZA says:

Blend motor actuator is jammed on it. BCM is trying to get it to a known position, but it is not responding correctly. Needs to be stripped and cleaned, or replaced, but a bit hard to get to.

wayne lewis says:

Have you ever, or could you p!ease do a video on oil catch cans? I have a 2014 Silverado with 5.3 GDI engine that I really need to last (health issue that has depleted my finances).
