Don’t waste time replacing parts until you do this first, this will determine whether you need a vapor canister and or vapor solenoid and purge valve. It is a tidiest process, but it can be done with in a day considering if you have proper tools such as air compressor and other miscellaneous tools.
Note: This vehicles has roughly 150k miles on it, it is very common for all GM to be like this, and it is very inconvenient if you ever need to replace the fuel pump.
Tools need:
8mm socket
15mm socket
3/8 or 1/2” extension
Pliers
Floor jacks , preferably 2
Jack stands
Air compressor or portable air compressor would work also
