@dewain4 I fixed it already 😀 I only dismantled the whole button that
opens the trunk and saw that the contact was very dirty I cleaned it really
good (with contact cleaner) than I put it back together and until now works
like a charm 🙂
@LPWWE06 for the trunk not closing.. u might need to oil the lock latch..
looks like claw. use w d 40. ill upload new vid on how to.. also the part
that the hook catch to secure the trunk might be bad and u may need new
one.. also if every time u hit unlock button on remote or in the car on
left side of drive wheel and u hear the trunk make unlock sound but click
click click non stop the lock might be crap and need whole new one.. but
before u go spend money view my new vid which will be up
I have a similar problem, my trunk opens with the key, when I press the
button (2001 model) in the car it doesn’t do anything.. note: sometimes
when I close my trunk it does close completly and it goes up (but won’t
open) a bit and if I shut it harder its closing what could be the problem?
@LPWWE06 ok. good thing too cuz new locks for that plus instalation is sky
high at dealership
