And Toyota can’t make a truck frame that won’t turn to dust.

Carlos Rivera says:

Manufacturer should sell their cars, not stupid dealerships with their jackoff prices

megabyte5689 says:

We bought a 2020 escape that was a lemon and ford agreed to buy it back or let us swap it msrp to msrp. No dealer would swap because they lose an allocation and make zero commission off the sale. It was ridiculous. Dealers may try to screw ford but ford does the same thing

I bought a Scion built in Mexico, it was rock solid. I think it's management is doing wrong, not where the car is made, sorry to disagree Scotty.

Br Wils says:

We need the 25 year old import rule abolished.

This would solve price gouging and supply problems. Also prices would be better reigned in.

My focus was made in Mexico, 21 years later she still looks better then the new ones

Those Mercurs have a lot in common with the Ford Sierra that came out in 1983 over here in Europe. The car replaced the Ford Taunus/Cortina. Parts used to be fairly easy to obtain, however, they are becoming scarce nowadays. The Sierra XR4 was the most powerful of the line and these are real collectors items. The XR4 resembles the Mercur the most. On the outside that is, the XR4 had a Cosworth engine…..Would be a nice project though and I guess parts can be found in Britain. They come at a price though. Greetings, Willem, Holland.
