That's some shots work perty bad

flyer8493 says:

This shop needs to be publicly called out. That’s ridiculous.

KingRatt says:

Is this guy getting every cent of his money back from this hack? Shouldn’t his certification be revoked?

Brian Smith says:

I wouldn't let that SOB change my flat tire. That's so sad … SMFH

Eric M says:

We need an interview with the guy or shop that put that in and I know it won't happen but it would be kind of cool

strategic services says:

What was total cost to customer?

Jim R says:

1st,I understand all vehicles rust. For a 2016 vehicle that corrosion on the frame welds is crazy. If I were buying a truck I'm pretty sure it would be a Ford. But it seems that Fords rust out faster than Chevy or Dodge.Again not bashing Ford,Just sayin.

Ray Lamp says:

If the domestic trash was built correctly to begin with. Just sayin.

RevBiker Big D says:

Sometimes customers don't want to pay extra for what you find wrong with their vehicles after you gave them a price! Now you're into the job to far , this is why jobs turn this way ! I had good customers who said what ever it needs, just do it !

Erwin says:

Well, the engine come out if you leave the harmonic balancer on? I’d rather not do the timing if I don’t have to.

J Miller says:

If I break it I replace it and tell the customer. That's B's right there

Johnny Lightning says:

Well you are nit picking, but nit picking is one sign of a good and through mechanic. If you don't nit pick the job is not done right and you cheated your customer. Anyone who thinks otherwise should not be working on other people's stuff, in fact I don't know how they can keep any job. It's called attention to details folks.
As far as the RTV on the turbo goes I have seen red high-temp RTV survive being used as a manifold gasket on a race car, so yes it will stand up to the temperatures of a turbo, but it's still really, really bad form.

Bilbs K. says:

Awesome videos thank you

Frank Orosz says:

Their brother-in-law did job on his driveway not a mechanic.

J A says:

Name of offending shop needs published!

idiotsinc says:

Please don't say you a nitpicking, it's called having pride in your trade and work you do.

As a tradesman who has been shafted by other trades it really really really pisses me off when they ask for the money but don't do the job they said they were going to do.

Ralph Menta says:

This is why I usually, when possible, try to do everything myself. This is just a black eye on mechanics.

Taylor Morrison says:

Can you do a video on the ford 5.0 spark knock problem?

Joel Rees says:

Did ford do this repair ? Every repair i have had on my f150 has had something messed up that wasnt before i took it in

Sui Generis says:

I came across your channel, and became a new sub, after watching your vlog. The honest view! You’re right my jaw dropped and even got a little pissed with shotty work!

Len Hofer says:

I see myself in what ur chasing Brian…..so don't consider that nit-picin….I can see more things in disarray wen opening the hood then most guys will see after pulling an engine….

MrNinerniner says:

It’s so bad cause that year with that generation eco boost is the easiest to do the turbo and manifolds compared to the 11-14 so that just shows pure laziness

Paul Standaert says:

I am itching to prefer the days back when jobs were more scarce so they could actually get fired.
I bought a Kia recently that was diagnosed with a bad engine when it was actually the high pressure GDI pump that was bad. They totally botched that diagnosis.

Dustin Marshall says:

So thankful I have the knowledge & ability to do my own work. Brian, you're a great mechanic! Really enjoy watching your channel.
