Very informative. Love the attention to detail when explaining step by
step. Nothing was skipped, which gives a better understanding for how
things work for the “do it yourself” type of person.
Hmmm.The C-clap is not the ideal tool for dual piston caliper reset. when
one piston is reset the other one will move.it is best to install the brake
pad on the caliper piston then use the c-clap to compress.Install both pad
on the caliper bracket with hardware,replace the caliper and replace the
two bolt on the slider pin. Always Pump the brake pedal by foot before
driving the vehicle. sorry about Part 4.
Noted, grinding the pad tabs a bit seems routine nowadays, On my dodge b350
bending was always needed since the fit was too loose.
