This is a 2000 Ford Focus 2.0 Liter SOHC Engine. It’s a pretty easy fix. Hopefully this video gives you a little more confidence in the job.

Jadon Hagan says:

Thanks so much for the help I’m waiting for documents to come back in my
name as I was given the car by my mom and have had to get odd parts like
copper brake pipes as current ones corroded and brake pads etc nothing
major I mean I got a quote for front 02 sensor for £58 I just want it all
ready for when my insurance ends then I can get insured on it Thank you:)

Jadon Hagan says:

Hmmm I mean I when the error was removed yesterday I kept the car running
till it was warmed up turned it off then this morning the engine light was
back on. So it’s deffo the front 02 sensor?? I wouldn’t do this but what
are the results if it’s left ?

SirTigAlot Wolfe says:

I was wondering what Size Socket w/a wire slot in it, fit’s that sensor?

Martin Lindsey says:

My 2001 Focus has the 2.0 L Split Port engine as well. Would the O2 sensor
be in the same location under the heat shield for that year?

JOE FORD DIY says:

what brand of sensor did you put in ? just curious

Jadon Hagan says:

My engine management light has been on before then reset then went off but
the day after came on and said this code below etc

P0135
02 sensor heater
Circuit bank 1 sensor
1

I am right it’s the front 02 sensor?

Martin Lindsey says:

Also, the 2001 had a bad reputation for valve seat failure that makes the
engine clatter randomly. I bought one for cheap and I think it has the same
problem. Do you have any videos or recommendations on getting that repaired
or maybe replaced by the VTEK engine?

miguel a rodriguez says:

how do u put the bottom one i bought one but it dont mach and autozone said
it was that one.like i can put the oxygen sensor but the other end how u
connect it plz help ar atleast pix to know how yours look.sorry for
misspelling

Jadon Hagan says:

Price isn’t a issue as long as it’s the right part that will stop the
engine light coming on:)

Jadon Hagan says:
