not really sure about your issue the contacts could be dirty, when I pulled
mine out the first time there was hair and dirt inside where the cylinder
goes, might have to clean it or you got a bad part. Did the old one do the
same thing ?
My 94 ranger outer ring spins completely around, no stops without the key,
drains battery as key can be removed in on position. No release hole like
shown.

Does it matter if it has an airbag? I tried finding the little pin to push
in but no such luck. And if I jam the screwdriver in at a wrong angle wont
it mess up the electronic parts…..,more help please.

but when i start it, the engine slowly shut off. then thief appear in the
dust board and the key stuck up again how to solve this problem?

Installed the new key lock cylinder key turns freely truck wont shut off
maybe defective part?
