not really sure about your issue the contacts could be dirty, when I pulled
mine out the first time there was hair and dirt inside where the cylinder
goes, might have to clean it or you got a bad part. Did the old one do the
same thing ?

My 94 ranger outer ring spins completely around, no stops without the key,
drains battery as key can be removed in on position. No release hole like
shown.

Does it matter if it has an airbag? I tried finding the little pin to push
in but no such luck. And if I jam the screwdriver in at a wrong angle wont
it mess up the electronic parts…..,more help please.

it together with tig enough to get it in the ignition and turn on or

WORKED GREAT THANKS That kept me from pulling the steering wheel like on
