totally not nessasry for changing plugs but it you want to have more
rooom this is the way to go i did the plugs on a 05 taurus in just
under 25 mins with out removing anything it was a pain but its doable
srry for the latness…not much of a techy guy…but if it still
pertains…you have a coil pack back their thats holding it on as well u
might undo that and see
went off but after 2 days it came back on so I was CONVINCED it was the 02
sensors. It is a good thing I founds somebody on a Ford thread talking
about both banks running lean or I would have pissed away a lot of
unnecessary money on 02 sensors! By the way, I used Champion 3408 Platinum
Power plugs, about $30 for all 6 and they work very well so don’t get too
freaked out by people making it sounds like you HAVE to you such and such a
plug. These are running great and not a bad deal. Good luck!
Thanx Bro. i did an 02 chrysler sebring and it was hell taking off the
manifold. i wasnt going to do my taurus but after seeing this video hell
yeah im gonna do it.
Thanks for going to the trouble to make this excellent video — it was a
big help as I’m just about to do my plugs. For anyone interested, I have
heard you can also remove the windshield cowling instead and supposedly not
have to pull the intake manifold to get at the back plugs, not sure if it’s
true but it’s worth a try. In my case, there are stains around the intake
manifold so I want to replace the gaskets so I’m going to pull the
manifold. Thanks again for the video.
great vid. One question though. I did all this and there is still something
on in the rear of the that is preventing me to lift up the manifold. Any
suggestions.
Great video was going to pay some to do a tune up on my 2004 ford taurus
but thanks to this video I will attempt to do it myself. Thanks for taking
the initiative to do it yourself need more people like you….

at the end u called the lower intake the throttle body. not sure if that
was an accident or u were misinformed. but besides that good
demonstration…
Good job !!! Just need to remember ALWAYS disconnect the battery !!
How do I change the vacuum hoses?
