Let me know what you think of my first ever product review and let me know
if you have any ideas on how to make my next review better!

SuperJeremi10 says:

my tahoes power stearing pump makes that same noise haha.

ChrisFix says:

+googlfascists, I cannot reply to your comment for some reason, but is the
groan noise still from the power steering pump? What pump and pinion did
you replace it with?

Thomas Elliott says:

I had a 93 Ranger with the 3.0. I removed restrictions in the air intake.
Removed the rain shield behind the grille, opened up the opening through
the radiator support (was way too small), removed the heated air intake
riser, removed the factory intake tube that was hopelessly restricted for a
generic larger free-flowing ribbed plastic tube. I also drilled holes in
each bottom corner of the air filter box and a good sized one in the back
higher up so if water got in it had places to drain out. All this provided
a noticeable improvement in torque. Funny how most people say they want
more horsepower, my quest was for more torque. Much later I traded this in
for my Firebird, not needing a truck anymore.

I’m having trouble with my van’s power steering grinding noise while
turning when the vehicle’s at rest. I’m thinking it might be air in the
system? Before that what I think “most likely” causes it is my 14 year old
cousin was turning the steering wheel w/ the engine off. If indeed air got
into the system then how do I bleed it out? because I couldn’t find any
leak.
My Steering & Suspension class is next semester and don’t want to wait til
then to diagnose the problem.

jackpontiac52 says:

The son these additives work is NOT magic, but Pure Science. Zinc
Sulphates, Copper Sulphates, even Lead Sulphates(old days) work because
these Metals Lubricate. I used 1 ounce of SFR Oil Additive in a friends
noisy power steering pump in his Ford. Went quiet after 10 minutes, and
stayed quiet for 10 years, when the owner passed away. At that time SFR
used Lead, Copper and Zinc.

Thomas Elliott says:

Not bad. I have a 97 Firebird with the LT1 350 and it had a more vocal
than normal power steering pump. Nowhere near as bad as Fords but
bothersome. I removed nearly all the old fluid in the small tank and it
looked like Black Cherry. Yuck. I poured in SeaFoam Trans Tune to return
the tank to full mark. Started up and turned the wheel a few times and now
there is ZERO noise, totally silent operation as it should be.

Carlos Rubio says:

What if you have a bmw?

Brett Grumm says:

Where can you purchase this power steering enhancer? I cannot find it
anywhere.. I work for walmart and they do not carry the product and I have
checked at all other stores and none of them have it.

Ve - Nature says:

please where can i get it,

Right Brigade says:

I have the same engine but I don’t think its’ a power steering issue for
me. My truck whines but starts off low in 1st gear and surges louder right
before the AT changes to 2nd gear and stops. Also there is a steady buzz or
hum at the front of the engine that I cant pin point. I changed my ATF &
filter to full synthetic, no change in the sound.

As I side note. Whats your opinion on this truck? I got mine with 170,000
miles on it and I guess its normal but everything started going out around
200K. It seems to be one thing after the other. I fix one thing then
something else. On the bright side, I ran a compression test when I changed
the plugs and the bottom end is like new now at 207K. Thanks for the
videos. BTW my dad has a 1997 Ranger with 500k on it. Its the 4 cylinder
though.

steve kwall says:

could you have sucked all the fluid out with out removing the low pressure
line and serviced the reservoir with this product only ?

Dblade981 says:

Hey Chris where did your purchase this product? Did you get it from Amazon?

steve kwall says:

would it make it quieter with more ? Just subscribe to your channel l I
like it a lot .I have this problem with my 99 ranger.

Mallory A says:

good video. ChrisFix is very articulate. Only, its whine not wine.
Now, lets watch it again to review his tips.

steve kwall says:

would bar leaks work just with that and no additives?

GooglFascists says:

OK gonna put you on the spot. My Mercury Sable wagon has the
telltale constant buzz/groan all Ford Taurus/Sable owners learn to
cuss at even after changing out the power steering pump AND
rack and pinion unit, (If I can find that weasel piss you used –
where did you get it?).

Ray H says:

That was GREAT!!

tubeberk08 says:

nice…. product reviews are a good idea.

Lucksh Y says:

Excellent product review…probably this product have more Zinc in it!

jimmy f says:

Nice video exactly what I was looking for. Did you just take out the old
fluid with the turkey Bastet to avoid flushing it?

David Charles says:

Change fluid and flush first.

colton outdoorsmen says:

This is like the best channel on YouTube

Toto col says:

I dont really like these products they work ok but you still got bad
bearing’s in your pump they just make less noise for a while. Great video
anyway.

LS6GTO . says:

Link to where you got the product? Cant find it.

dainternetguru says:

Stop calling your truck a car.

Brendan Cunningham says:

Ford power steering blows. end of story

GammaCruxis says:

When I first started the video, I saw the bottle and thought ‘barbecue
sauce – what the heck is he going to do!?’ rofl

Great video man! Thanks for the info! :)

Callum Turner says:

I thought my b3000 power steering pump was loud until i heard yours. i
guess its normal for these trucks to sound like that.

Thanks for the video.

dangerline95 says:

The power steering on my ranger sounds like a supercharger

Agustin Uriostegui says:
