Why are back pads slightly different?
My dealership changed my front left caliper under extended Ford warranty a
few months ago and lately I was metal on metal on that wheel. Took it apart
yesterday and they had put both of the “Garfield ear” pads on that wheel!
The outside one was down to the metal. There wasn’t any damage to the
wheel, but that outside pad is toast! I replaced the rotor and the pads. I
have a 2010 F150 4×4 Platinum. I’m taking the other one apart today and
guess I’ll find both pads without the ears.

Hi. Do you offer videos that show the complete process of replacing the
pads? From watching your video, it looks basic. Remove the tire, remove the
caliper, compress the caliper, remove the rotor to machine if needed, and
put everything back together? Are there any sensors that need resetting?
The dealership wants $385 for this brake job. I’m not having that.
Approx. what year vehicles does this apply to? Thanks for the video.
