This is needed on a 3 yr. old truck? 6 hrs. labor + parts? Pathetic!

Brent Richardson says:

Brian, would it help to turn the hole into a slot whereas you could start
the screw then work the new actuator under the screw or do you have no way
to even tighten the problem screw once actuator is installed?

beunable says:

i got a 2009 f150 (no dual temp) it’s blowing ice cold air instead of
heat, so i’m assuming i need to replace the blend door actuator, how do i
go about replacing this? or even if you tell me where it is located, just
so i know where to start

I have 2011 expedition with digital climate control & many Times it dose
not shutting off the A/C. when I hit the off button so I just turn the
ignition key off.
Another question is it better to keep the a/c on all the time so it just
starts right away when starting the engine or turn it manually on after the
engine stabilizes?thanks

Coopers_dad says:

How lucky is your customer that you can do this rather than pulling the
dash. I’m saving to pay for the estimated $2200 to pull the dash in my
superduty

gbmcy says:

Oh God! What a nightmare to deal with. Brian it looks like you didn’t have
any trouble. If this happens to me it is going back to Ford.

ebu touy says:

i use a right angle drill attachment to pull the back screw, but you may or
may not put it back but its not really a big deal on the duct.

I now noticed this issue on my 2010 F150 FX4 with only 88,000 km. I had
the same problem years ago on my Explorer. I can’t believe Ford can’t
figure out how to make this a little easier on customers. Thanks for the
video.

Justin Shofler says:

Thank you for your videos they are very informative. I just fixed my 2010
expedition with the same problem today.
